Tenney described the filtration system as effective at removing the detected contaminants but noted it requires frequent filter changes and ongoing maintenance. The Tenneys began remediation at the household level; no town-funded remediation or official testing by the municipality was recorded at the meeting.
The Selectboard did not vote or refer the matter to a specific town board during the April 23 session. Adam urged the Utility Board to act, saying more testing and official review are needed; the transcript records his statement but does not record any formal response from the Castine Golf Club or a town directive to the Utility Board.
