The Health Department’s Amendment #2 to an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office added $156,630 through June 30, 2017 to support the Mobile Crisis Response Team. An Amendment (#6) with Salem Hospital extended a contract through July 31, 2016 and added $13,109.04 for around‑the‑clock mental‑health screening services.
The board also approved an order establishing fee schedules for alternative payment methodology case rates for high‑fidelity behavioral health services, renewed a Sheriff’s Office lease with Torsk Properties for $51,234.48 through June 30, 2018, and scheduled a public hearing for July 13, 2016 to consider amendments to the Marion County Urban and Rural Zone Codes. Commissioner Janet Carlson moved approval of the consent agenda; Commissioner Sam Brentano seconded and the voice vote was unanimous.
The consent agenda consolidates administrative approvals that county staff said were needed to maintain ongoing services, elections readiness and behavioral‑health screening capacity. No separate discussion or roll‑call votes were recorded for individual consent items during the session.
The board proceeded to the scheduled action items after approving the consent agenda.
