Castine Selectmen approve warrants, finalize June 7 town meeting warrant

The board approved three warrants. Amy Gutow moved to approve the General Fund warrant for $16,424.12; Dan Leader seconded and the motion passed, 3-0. Leader then moved to approve the Water warrant for $826.18; Gutow seconded and the board approved it, 3-0.
Roberta Boczkiewicz introduced the June 7 town meeting warrant. Dan Leader moved to approve the warrant and Amy Gutow seconded. Leader praised the work on the budget and warrant, singling out Finance Officer Karen Motycka for her efforts. Gutow noted a small edit—adding the word “residential” to Article 59 (Lighthouse Lease)—and the board agreed to the correction before voting to approve the warrant, 3-0.
After signing the warrants, the board adjourned the regular meeting at 4:05 PM and proceeded to a work session to complete warrant signing.
