Kush's background presented to council included local upbringing in Columbus City, completion of an EMT license in 2023 at Northeast Community College, additional paramedic education at Metropolitan Community College, experience as a paramedic and lab technician at Chi Health Clinic in Omaha, current employment with Priority Medical Transport, volunteer service with the Bellwood Rural Fire Department, and community volunteer activity.
