Board approves minutes and two reappointments; hearing records no neighborhood-assistance applications

The Board of Selectmen on June 10 approved the minutes from its May 27 regular meeting and reappointed two members to town commissions.
A selectman moved and another seconded approval of the May 27, 2026 minutes; the motion carried. The board then moved to correspondence and appointments: Rob Smith submitted an application for the Waterfront Commission, and the board received notice from Chris Houlihan that he will not seek reappointment to the Flood Prevention, Climate Resilience, and Erosion Control Board when his term ends June 30.
The board approved reappointment of Bill Wright to the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission and reappointment of Alan Bannister to the Shellfish Commission after motions to reappoint were made and seconded and the board voted in favor. No roll-call tallies were read into the record and the transcript records simply that each motion was moved, seconded and "so moved." The meeting concluded with no old or new business and adjournment.
The public hearing portion of the meeting included an explanation of the Neighborhood Assistance Act tax credit program; board members were told that Jim Sullivan, the town irector of finance, confirmed there were no applications or written communications for the program in 2026, so no action was required at this meeting.
