Chair Gene Wypyski told the Budget Committee on Feb. 25 that the recently completed town audit produced positive results with no unexpected management issues and that the Town’s contribution to the school budget will be about $300,000 less than initially estimated.
Wypyski said preliminary audit findings will be delivered to committee members on March 12. Committee members did not record further questions or dissent on the audit summary during the meeting.
The committee’s recommendations on FY27 budget articles will be transmitted to the Town Manager and the Select Board for further action.
