Bremen approves Nobleboro Transfer Station contract after resident questions insurance hikes

Chair Wendy Pieh said the town is not involved in negotiating the transfer station's contract and provided Kohnert with contact information for the station agent and the transfer-station chair so the resident could pursue the question directly.
Selectman John "Boe" Marsh moved to approve the Nobleboro Transfer Station contract; Selectman Steve Page seconded. The motion passed 3-0.
The board also reminded residents that the deadline for submitting requests for the 2025-2026 town budget is Feb. 14, 2025.
The board did not expand on details of the contract or the insurance increase at the meeting; officials directed the resident to the transfer-station contacts for specific information.
