Trenton’s City Council voted April 28 to buy two used Ford F-150 pickups to refresh the city fleet.
Alderman Graves moved to buy a 2023 white 4x4 Ford F-150 with 24,043 miles from Steve Marsh Ford in Milan, Tennessee, for $34,000; Alderwoman Jones seconded and the motion carried after a roll call. Later in the meeting, Alderman Harper moved to purchase a 2022 white Ford F-150 with 58,768 miles from the same dealer for $30,000; Alderwoman Holt seconded and that motion also carried after roll call. The meeting record states each motion "was carried" but does not provide individual vote tallies.
Earlier in the meeting the council approved the minutes of its April 14 session on a motion by Alderwoman Jones, seconded by Alderwoman Holt (voice vote).
The approvals came during routine business at the April 28 council meeting at Trenton City Hall. The purchases were presented as standard procurement items; no amendments or conditions were recorded in the transcript. The council adjourned at 6:31 p.m.
The council did not provide roll-call vote counts in the transcript for the vehicle purchases; the minutes should be consulted for the official vote record.
