Bremen selectmen approve animal control contract; confirm fire chief and addressing officer

Bremen — The Bremen Board of Selectmen voted Jan. 16 to approve an Animal Control Contract with the Lincoln County Sheriff Department and to confirm two municipal appointments.
Chair Wendy Pieh moved and Selectman John “Boe” Marsh seconded a motion to approve the animal control contract; the board voted 2-0 to adopt it. The board then voted 2-0 to appoint Eric Teele as Bremen Fire Chief. The body also approved the appointment of James Murphy as the town’s Addressing Officer by the same 2-0 margin.
In brief business, the board voted 2-0 to approve the minutes from Jan. 2, 2025, and approved the warrant dated Jan. 17, 2025. All formal motions recorded in the meeting passed unanimously 2-0.
The meeting was convened at 5:02 p.m. and adjourned at 5:19 p.m.
