River Ridge CDD adopts Resolution 2024-05 and approves $173,367.78 ditch-cleaning contract

At its June 25 meeting the River Ridge Community Development District board adopted Resolution 2024-05 to amend the use of proceeds of its Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and authorized a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank.
On a motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Terry Mountford, the board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2024-05. The motion record states the vote was "with all in favor." The board also approved MRI Construction, Inc.'s estimate for dry-retention flow-way ditch cleaning adjacent to River Course holes #6 through #8, in the amount of $173,367.78.
District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented the scope of the MRI estimate and responded to funding questions. Chuck Adams told the board that loan proceeds will cover the drainage projects as part of the original scope and added that staff included irrigation in the project planning with a 10% contingency. The board discussed but took no action on a separate estimate to install a new well from McCullers Construction Services & Consulting, LLC in the amount of $277,550; that item will be reconsidered later.
The board accepted the financial statements, approved amended minutes from May 28, 2024 and recommended that the Fining Committee review potential homeowner removal of littorals from a lake bank. The meeting adjourned at 2:43 p.m.
