The Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Board on Aug. 21 granted a one-year extension of site-plan approvals for JB Liquors at 50 Center Square Road to allow time for pending county approvals and to secure a cooperating developer for later phases.
An attorney for the applicant restated prior approvals and said the applicant intends to proceed with Building 1A even if subsequent phases are delayed. JLUB Solicitor Mike Aimino explained the procedural options for extensions. Board member Grasso moved to approve the requested one-year extension and Board member Rushton seconded; the roll call recorded the approvals as listed in the minutes.
The minutes state the extension preserves the prior approvals against potential future zoning changes and that the applicant may return for additional extensions if needed.
