The Upper Hanover Township Board of Supervisors took several routine and administrative actions at its Jan. 11, 2022 meeting. Highlights of motions and recorded outcomes include:
- Approval of meeting minutes: Dec. 14, 2021 minutes approved 4-0-1 (Mr. Laessig abstained); Jan. 3, 2022 organizational minutes approved 5-0 (motion by Mr. Fiorito, second by Mr. Woodward).
- Financial motions: The Previously Paid Bills List and the Monthly Bills List were approved 5-0 (motion by Mr. Woodward, second by Mr. Laessig). The board approved an escrow release for Gerryville Self-Storage in the amount of $182,764.37 (motion by Mr. Fiorito, second by Mr. Woodward; unanimous).
- Procurement and operations: The board authorized seeking propane proposals for 2022, authorized highlighted Signal Services repairs (motion by Mr. Woodward; 5-0), and gave consensus to manager Klepfer to purchase office furniture and convert township systems to Microsoft 365.
- Resolutions and appointments: The board adopted Resolution No. 2022-05 naming Anne W. Klepfer as the township voting delegate to the Montgomery County Tax Collection Committee (5-0); Resolutions No. 2022-06 and 2022-07 were adopted to approve bank signatory changes (5-0); and Resolution No. 2022-08 conditionally accepted roads in Reserve at Mocoby Run Phase 4A (5-0).
- Traffic and personnel: The board authorized permitting and permanent installation of speed display/radar signs near the Vineyards (motion by Mr. Woodward; 5-0) and adopted Resolution No. 2022-10 increasing the wage for seasonal part-time CDL snow plow/salt truck operators to $25 per hour (motion by Mr. Laessig; 5-0).
