Council also authorized promotion of Nadia Flannery to full-time court administrator (2025-81) and approved redemption of a third-party tax lien (2025-84).
On regional planning and housing matters, the council voted to petition the Highlands Council for plan conformance (2025-77) and endorsed the borough's Fourth Round Housing Element (2025-78). Borough Planner Jessica Caldwell and Mayor Stanzilis thanked borough staff for work that kept Mount Arlington compliant with the latest round of affordable housing requirements.
A resolution recognizing the appointment of a volunteer firefighter was approved (2025-85). All listed resolutions were approved by roll-call votes with no recorded opposition. Council members noted beach programming (guided kayaking, chair and beach yoga) and public-safety trainings in recent weeks as part of summer preparations.
