Selectmen approve truck purchase, set winter prep and paving plans

The board also approved the purchase of a sand screen (Hal ordered the screen for about $2,400) and planned extra sand and salt quantities for winter.
Paving work appeared repeatedly: the board opened paving bids in July (Eatons and B&B) and moved to accept B&B's lower bid for Mills Point Road, subject to Mark's final approval and later reconsideration when Mark denied the B&B bid and the town deferred until the following year.
