The Industrial Board of Coffee County, Tennessee, Inc., convened a rescheduled session on April 10, 2026, in Conference Room 1 of the Coffee County Administrative Plaza. Chairman David Young called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and confirmed a quorum was present.
The board unanimously approved the meeting agenda after a motion by Greta Dajani and a second from Huel Goldston. The board then approved minutes from February and a March special-called meeting on a motion from Brent Parsley, seconded by Huel Goldston, and approved the financial reports for February and March after a motion by Parsley and a second from Greta Dajani. All votes recorded in the minutes were unanimous.
The board received the Executive Director's Report for April 2026 as an attachment to the meeting packet; the minutes reference the report but do not record any additional discussion or excerpts from it.
Under committee reports, Park Development Committee member Huel Goldston told the board that the committee met and voted to approve a variance for CarMax to use slat fencing. Other standing committees—the Marketing Support Committee and the Budget and Finance Committee—did not meet and gave no reports; several chamber and development liaisons were noted as not present.
With no new or old business on the agenda, the board moved to adjourn. Chairman Young presented the motion; Alex Rice moved, Greta Dajani seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
