At its Jan. 13 meeting the Skowhegan Selectboard approved routine business including a liquor-license renewal, junkyard permits and warrants totaling more than $6.5 million.
The board renewed Door Group LLC’s on-premises beer, wine and spirits license for Old Mill Pub by a 4-0 vote. It also approved junkyard permits for David & Daughters Towing (David Folsom II) at 232 Rowe Rd. and two Kennebec Metal Recycling sites listed in the agenda. Motions were moved and seconded and carried unanimously.
The Selectboard approved a series of warrants—payables and payroll—listed on the agenda, with individual warrant numbers totaling $6,538,418.19 across state payables, payroll runs, and accounts-payable listings.
Those routine approvals closed a portion of the meeting’s business before the board moved on to infrastructure and executive-session items.
