The Board of Assessors of Sandy River Plantation covered routine business at its Aug. 27 meeting, including signing warrants 13 and 14, advancing a website contract with Aptuitiv, and asking the Clerk to approach Dallas Plantation about plowing the mile of Sandy River road that leads to Saddleback Mountain.
Warrant 12 had been signed earlier by a majority off‑meeting; warrants 13 and 14 were reviewed and signed at the Aug. 27 meeting. Board members agreed to submit a signed agreement with Aptuitiv for website design and development; Assessor Steve Carr and Rodney Varney deferred to Assessor Joanne Taylor on the vendor selection.
At Assessor Taylor’s request the Clerk reached out to Dallas Plantation to ask whether that municipality would agree to plow the Sandy River road; Dallas will consider the request and report back. The meeting adjourned at 5:53 PM; the Board set its next meeting for Sept. 10, 2024.
