Town Manager Garrett Corbin asked the Select Board to approve a trial‑basis closure of the Town Office to the public on Wednesday afternoons beginning Nov. 13 to address a recent uptick in slow‑season office traffic. Corbin said staff would continue to work during the closure; the proposal recommended closing from 2 p.m. onward to minimize public inconvenience. The board agreed by consensus to try the change and directed that the website and the fall newsletter communicate the new trial hours; no formal vote was recorded.
On routine business the board approved several motions: Lloyd Cuttler moved and Jay Reynolds seconded approval of the Sept. 23 minutes (approved unanimously); Karen Campbell moved to reimburse Brian Demshar $75 from the road account for mowing Campbell Field Road, Jay Reynolds seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Jay Reynolds moved to adjourn, Karen Campbell seconded and the meeting adjourned at 5:41 p.m.
