At its Sept. 23 meeting the Carrabassett Valley Select Board unanimously appointed former Town Manager Dave Cota to a community seat on the Greens Committee.
Town Manager Garrett Corbin reported the Greens Committee seeks two town members, two Sugarloaf members and four golf‑club members; at its Sept. 18 meeting the committee recommended appointing Cota to one of the community slots. Jay Reynolds moved to appoint Dave Cota; Roddy Ehrlenbach seconded the motion, and the vote was unanimous.
No member voiced opposition; the board did not attach conditions to the appointment and the committee’s recommendation was accepted as presented.
