Planning commission elects Vice Chair Bundy as chair; Anand named vice chair and summer recess approved

The San Carlos Planning and Transportation Commission completed its annual reorganization at its June 15 meeting, electing Vice Chair Bundy to serve as chair for the coming year and Commissioner Anund as vice chair.
Vice Chair Bundy accepted the chair nomination and said she would "be honored by the opportunity to step into the role," while outgoing Chair Clemens said she was willing to continue but noted this would be her last year of her second term and expressed support for leadership succession. Commissioners voted by roll call, recording yes votes from Commissioner Anund, Commissioner Kennasty, Commissioner Tapias, Vice Chair Bundy and Chair Clemens (5–0) for both officer appointments.
The commission also voted to authorize a summer recess and cancel its scheduled July 6 and July 20 meetings. Staff said there were no time‑sensitive housing or other items that required meetings in July and that regular meetings will resume in August.
The nominations, votes and staff comments took place at the opening of the June 15 meeting as part of the commission’s annual officer appointments.
