Vinalhaven selectmen approve agenda, minutes and Treasurer’s warrants; consensus OKs liquor-license upgrade

The Vinalhaven Board of Selectmen carried several routine procedural items on May 19.
Leslie Dyer moved to approve the meeting agenda; Eric Gasperini seconded and the motion passed 5-0-0. Dyer next moved to approve the minutes of May 12, which passed 4-0-1 with Selectman Payton Warren recorded as abstaining because he had been absent from that meeting. The board also approved and signed Treasurer’s Warrants #47 after a motion by Dyer and second by Gasperini, with a 5-0-0 vote recorded.
Deputy Clerk Elizabeth Bunker notified the board that Sherry’s Kitchen had submitted an amended liquor license application to add spirits to its existing beer-and-wine authorization; the minutes record a consensus of the board to approve the upgraded license but do not include a formal roll-call vote or motion tied to that item.
Pam Alley moved to adjourn at 5:37 PM; Eric Gasperini seconded and the motion carried 5-0-0.
