The RSU 20 Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve warrants calling a Regional School Unit 20 budget meeting for Sept. 24, 2025 and to call a budget-validation referendum for Nov. 4, 2025.
The motion, read aloud at the meeting, authorized the superintendent to complete the notice of amounts adopted and deliver copies to municipal clerks for posting at polling places ahead of the November referendum. The board then signed the warrants as presented.
Board members discussed outreach to municipal officials and the value of encouraging town managers and select boards to attend or support the budget meeting and referendum schedule. The board also confirmed that motions and the warrant language presented at tonight’s meeting will be included with the meeting minutes.
