During the April 1 meeting the Mendota City Council approved the consent calendar covering routine financial and administrative items.
Items approved included the warrant list covering checks 56073–56165 totaling $835,581.27; Resolution No. 25-16 designating surplus real property and approving a lease agreement with La Granja De Favian; Resolution No. 25-19 authorizing an Information Technology managed services agreement with Datapath and empowering the City Manager to execute the agreement; Resolution No. 25-20 authorizing the City Manager to purchase a vehicle in an amount not to exceed $80,000 plus taxes and fees; Resolution No. 25-21 approving the dissolution of the Mendota Public Safety Sub-Committee and directing staff to evaluate alternative public safety structures; and ratification of a letter supporting LEAP Institute’s "Green Raiteros" service-area expansion.
The motion to approve items 1 through 6 was made by Council Member Joseph R. Riofrio, seconded by Council Member Jesus "Jesse" Mendoza, and passed unanimously with four ayes (Mayor Pro Tem Jose Alonso was absent). No separate discussion or roll-call tallies by individual member were recorded in the minutes.
