RSU 24 highlights PBIS gains, student leadership and statewide recognition

"Students have really taken a huge ownership in our school culture," Shelder said, noting staff and students reported improved interactions and measurable survey results.
Presenters described specific practices (student-led recognition, assemblies, monthly awards and a student PBIS team) and shared early data the district recorded that indicate improvement in targeted climate measures. Board members praised staff for reintroducing PBIS and encouraged continued monthly video updates to showcase school progress.
