Student representative reports multiple sports wins; marching band to host competition Sept. 27

Randall reported that the boys football team beat Orono and Boothbay, the girls soccer team beat Sacopee Valley, and the boys soccer team recorded its first win against Traip Academy. He said the marching band received three out of five stars at its first show at Waterhouse Field and that the school will host a band competition on Sept. 27.
Randall also said student council discussed fall spirit week and homecoming themes and will use "crash throughs" instead of decorating hallways. He described a library and science collaboration that brought an inflatable whale named "Chunk" to OOBHS so students could walk through the exhibit to learn whale anatomy.
