The Chebeague Island School Committee elected Elizabeth Doughty to serve as chair for the 2026–2027 school year and Erin Layng to serve as vice-chair during its regular meeting on June 16, 2026. The committee recorded the chair nomination as approved 3-0-1; the transcript notes an abstention by Elizabeth Doughty on that vote.
