County staff asked for competitive proposals and recommended MAC Gay Associates following negotiations to refine scope and unit pricing. The contract will be paid entirely from LSLR grant funds; the agreement allows a not‑to‑exceed amount of $1,355,000 and requires board approval for any higher spend. The board approved the award.
Deliverables and next steps: the contractor will complete the inventory, assemble GIS and written reports, and provide an updated heat map to guide future replacement projects and grant applications. County staff extended the grant term to December 2026 to accommodate field work.
