Robbins reviews community programs: vaccination clinic turnout, back-to-school festival, National Night Out and local assistance programs

Officials thanked Chief Malley, DC Bollinger and the fire department for assisting at a dog vaccination clinic that served 85 dogs despite a published 75-dog limit; minutes note only about 15 of those animals were from Robbins residents. The board announced its annual back-to-school festival and parade is scheduled for Aug. 29–31 with live entertainment, food and a rodeo; admission is $10 per day for attendees 18 and older and free for those 17 and younger. The board also announced National Night Out on Aug. 5 from 4–7 p.m. at the Robbins Community Center (13800 S. Trumbull Ave.). Clerk Sharon Dyson reported revenue items for 6/10/25–7/21/25 including community center rentals ($820), flea market revenue ($17,806) and transfer tax fees ($650).
