Village of Enon council approves ARPA adjustment, road salt resolution and $3,000 fireworks donation

The council first approved the March 22, 2022 minutes (motion by Council President Rick Hanna; second by Ben Beair). The roll-call vote recorded five yes votes and one abstention (Paul Avery). During public comment, resident Chris Price asked councilmembers to confirm that Enon–Xenia Road construction would not begin until 2024 and asked about stoplight programming. Russell Graham, identified as Commander of the Enon VFW, asked whether the parade route would remain the same and thanked the council for ongoing fireworks support while noting increased fireworks costs this year.
The council approved a motion to increase the village’s donation for fireworks to $3,000 (motion by Rick Hanna; second by Paul Avery).
