County opens bids for Horse Creek Road gravel; staff to recommend award next week

A second bidder, Hobanson Construction, submitted a gravel cost of $60,418.45 and a total project cost reported as $513,566.83; a millings option from Hollings Millings listed $41,722 and a total project cost shown in the document as $303,154,637 (staff noted the figures and that they will review with attorneys).
The road department said it will evaluate the bids with county attorneys this coming week and provide a recommendation to the commissioners at the next meeting.
