Residents urge departmental emergency contingencies and restoration of museum plumbing request

He suggested department-level contingencies would encourage fiscal responsibility; Erica responded that statutory and accounting rules limit what taxable funds can be held as savings, and that CIP accounts are restricted to capital projects rather than operational emergencies.
Another resident said internet connectivity interrupted earlier public comment about the museum and urged the commission to restore a capital-improvement request to install working plumbing at the museum. The Chair acknowledged the comment and said project decisions are ultimately for the commission to make.
The meeting then moved to a motion to adjourn and was closed by a voice motion.
