East Rockhill approves leases, auditor engagement, sewer credit and records long-serving Planning Commission resignation

At its Dec. 19 meeting the East Rockhill Board approved several administrative and consent items. The board authorized the Chairperson to execute a lease with the Pennridge Greenjacket Midget Football Association for use of Willard H. Markey Centennial Park from Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2024.
The board authorized closing a Certificate of Deposit that matured Dec. 14, 2019 and depositing the funds into the Capital Improvement Fund. It also authorized the Township Manager to execute an engagement letter with Dunlap and Associates for the 2019 audit in an amount not to exceed $17,900.
The board allocated one sewer Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU) to parcel ID 12-009-192-002 (1097 West Schwenkmill Road) in recognition of public sewer improvements provided by Emil Jacoby to properties with failing systems and to the municipal office. The board acknowledged with regret the resignation of Nancy Booz from the Planning Commission, noting her 40 years of service and requesting a resolution for consideration at the January 2020 meeting.
The board also approved authorization vouchers: $259.21 to C. Robert Wynn Associates for construction observation and escrow administration and $15,668.05 to Lynn Builders LLC for driveway, stormwater, erosion control and miscellaneous work. Public Works reported completion of fall leaf collection with 75 loads collected. The board voted unanimously on the listed motions.
