The East Hampton Town Board approved several resolutions at the June 16 work session. Highlights included:
- Acceptance of the bid for t‑shirts, sweatshirts and other uniform items to ABC Custom Sales, Inc. (resolution for bid EH26034). - Appointment and membership revisions for the 2026 Water Quality Technical Advisory Committee after member resignations (resolution 2026‑999). - Contract acceptance for Cityscape Consultants for wireless telecommunications permitting support, not to exceed $25,000 and retroactive to Jan. 1, 2026 (resolution 1001). - Promotion of Richard Normile Jr. to Chief Building Inspector, effective retroactive to June 15, with a 48‑hour workweek and $140,000 annual salary (resolution 1002). - Authorization for the town attorney to commence legal action related to use and occupancy matters at 435 East Lake Drive in Montauk (resolution 1003). - Acceptance of other budget code corrections and grant administrative updates as listed on the agenda.
Each resolution was moved, seconded and adopted on the board floor with an affirmative voice vote. The board then voted to enter executive session to discuss CPF litigation, real estate, personnel and contract matters.
