The board directed staff to draft an approval resolution reflecting those findings and the split deliberation for the May 1 meeting.
On administrative matters, members complained that application materials circulated as PDFs were difficult to edit. Member Dave volunteered to convert the special‑permit, variance and renewal forms into Word format and circulate them so members can propose consolidated edits ahead of the next meeting.
Finally, the board discussed a court decision that vacated parts of a prior resolution. Litigation counsel will supply instructions and a draft administrative resolution to reflect the appellate order; the board concluded the matter is administrative and not dependent on new applications.
