The East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors on Oct. 22 approved several planning and land-use items.
The Board granted a waiver of land development to First Baptist Church, 1600 N. Fifth St., to add a 30-space parking lot and two modular trailers. Representatives Daniel (Dan) Soliday and Scott Mease, P.E., presented plans. The waiver was granted on the condition the church record a consolidation plan for parcels 12-014-005, 12-014-004 and 12-014-009 at the Bucks County Courthouse, execute a professional services contract and complete a stormwater review.
The Board granted preliminary/final approval to the Freier lot-line adjustment at 417 Three Mile Run Road, which conveys 0.143 acres from TMP #12-8-118 to TMP #12-8-119-1 to resolve an encroachment of paved parking. Approval was contingent on compliance with C. Robert Wynn Associates' review dated Oct. 1, 2019 and on granting requested waivers.
The Etzler lot-line adjustment at 2386 East Rock Road was also granted preliminary/final approval, reconfiguring four adjoining tax parcels into three lots (approx. 4.65, 10.11 and 13.68 acres net), contingent on consultant comments and requested waivers. The plan includes removal of a proposed deed restriction near the pond.
Separately, the Board approved the Perkasie Regional Authority conditional use application and land development for a 1,152-square-foot booster pump building and a free‑standing generator pad adjacent to an existing water tank on Park Avenue. The approval was contingent on compliance with consultant letters, addressing any noise complaints if they occur, and excluded certain waiver requests per consultant review letters, including fee-in-lieu of recreation land under section 22-525.1.C.
Richard Kelly was appointed to the Planning Commission to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2021 during the meeting.
