Resident urges changes to Meadow Meadowview Park plan, citing parking and noise

On noise, Ladwig said existing evening noise already carries past the park’s 10 p.m. closing time and warned that elements of the proposed plan — including a splash pad sited about 50 feet closer to backyards — would increase sound that could reflect off new buildings and affect nearby homes.
Board members did not take formal action on the park plan at the meeting; staff previously noted the possibility of adding about 10 parking stalls in the present lot and creating additional stalls near the old fire station site with access from Meadowbrook Road. Ladwig asked the board to consider a different plan than the one presented and to review the 2016 site plan referenced in his remarks.
