Public Works Director Jessica Ramirez briefed trustees on maintenance and equipment work at the May 12 committee meeting.
Ramirez said crews replaced grass with asphalt at 1506 N. 40th Avenue and at an area next to Scores to reduce maintenance demands. Staff installed soap dispensers and toilet paper holders in the pavilion’s renovated restrooms and performed a full cleaning ahead of the rental season.
Ramirez reported the street sweeper successfully passed its inspection. She also said Public Works coordinated repairs to a fuel pump: the handle was replaced and the pump is currently operational, though additional replacement parts are pending.
Those updates were provided as departmental reports; the minutes do not record separate votes or follow-up assignments related to these items.
