Stone Park trustees review invoices and say pavilion bathrooms are finished

Trustees on the Village of Stone Park Board reviewed several Fiscal Year End 2026 invoices related to recent pavilion work and field lighting at the May 12 committee meeting.
Finance Trustee Marco A. Gutierrez presented invoices that are part of the FYE 2026 budget: Burke Burns & Pinelli, Ltd. Invoice #45920 for $581.00 (legal fees for senior housing development), Palatine Builders Supply Invoice #133496 for $9,745.00 (pavilion bathroom partitions), Palatine Builders Supply Invoice #133544 for $3,000.00 (pavilion bathroom accessories), Palatine Builders Supply Invoice #133516 for $80.00 (pavilion bathroom door hardware) and Precision Electrical Services Invoice #3933 for $11,312.00 (pavilion fans and field safety lights). Trustee Gutierrez presented these for the Board’s consideration and approval.
Mayor Beniamino Mazzulla said the village worked directly with suppliers to eliminate an intermediary and that Vision Construction completed the installation. "The bathrooms are now finished," the mayor said. Trustees also noted the lights and fans were installed per an estimate the Board approved at its March 24, 2026 meeting.
Trustee Marco T. Paz asked whether cameras would be installed at the Stone Park Sports & Entertainment Complex; the mayor answered that cameras had been installed with Board approval in May 2025 and are operational on high-speed internet.
No vote on the invoices was recorded in the committee minutes; the invoices were presented as part of the existing budget. The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
