Davis County OKs law-enforcement contracts, warranty for emergency operations center

He also presented a warranty agreement tied to construction of the county's emergency operations center between Hogan & Associates Construction Inc., Ram Exterior Inc., and Davis County; Butcher said the warranty has no direct financial tie to the county and runs from June 16, 2026, through June 16, 2033. Finally, the sheriff's office sought approval of an amendment to contract 2026-0162 with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service for cooperative law enforcement in Wasatch-Cache (Wasatch) National Forest, increasing expected reimbursement up to $15,000 (it was originally $5,000).
Commissioners noted recent incidents in West Point and thanked law enforcement partners for cooperation. A motion to approve items 13, 14 and 15 passed by voice vote.
