The county’s executive director told commissioners that the county received an occupancy permit for the McGee laundry facility and that the project remains on schedule and on budget.
According to staff, the total project cost was $1,718,000 and the county expects to receive $687,560 in reimbursements (reported as roughly 40% of the project). Staff said about $365,000 still remained to be reimbursed and that reimbursements are being submitted as work progresses. The director also noted incoming ProShare funds and two Primex pool refunds totaling about $32,000 for workers’ compensation and unemployment that the county expects to receive.
The report was presented as part of the executive director’s routine update; commissioners did not take formal action on the project at the meeting other than noting that the occupancy permit met the reimbursement deadline for the applicable funding and that staff will continue to process reimbursements.
