Secondary Roads staff told the Adams County Board of Supervisors on June 9 that recent heavy rainfall overtopped several roads and three bridges and that a culvert on Redwood Avenue is in poor condition and will receive a temporary repair. Staff also reported pavement blowouts on Quince Avenue and H34 and said they will haul rock to a DOT project on Quarry Road.
Staff said the county has submitted an application to the FY26 Competitive Highway Bridge Program and completed concept statements for Grant 7 and Grant 8. County staff said they are seeking a consultant to prepare a Form 760005 "Determination of Effect for Threatened and Endangered Species," a permitting-related document cited in the minutes. Check plans for Union 17 have been received and staff listed an anticipated letting date of July 7. Minutes also note Purple Wave will photograph auction items.
The minutes document physical damage and ongoing project work but do not tie any single budget line or the later approved fund transfer specifically to one of the listed repairs or projects.
