The Canal Winchester Planning and Zoning Commission elected its 2026 officers at the Jan. 12 meeting following a brief executive session. Commissioner Joe Donahue was re-elected chairman in a motion by Commissioner Eileen Goodin, seconded by Commissioner Steve Palsgrove; the motion carried 5–0 with Commissioners Brad Richey and Joe Wildenthaler excused.
Deborah McDonnell was elected vice chairman on a motion by Eileen Goodin, seconded by Steve Palsgrove; Rick Deeds was elected secretary on a motion by Eileen Goodin, seconded by Steve Palsgrove. Both motions carried 5–0.
The executive session to discuss the officer elections began at 7:02 p.m. and concluded at 7:04 p.m. The Commission reconvened and proceeded with the published agenda.
