Chickasaw County supervisors approve routine administrative items, minor subdivision plat

At its June 8 meeting the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors handled several routine administrative items and approved a minor subdivision plat.
The board amended the May 18, 2026 minutes to state approval and authorization for the chair’s signature on the Employment Repayment and Prior Training Obligation Reimbursement Agreement up to $13,450 for the Sheriff’s Office (motion by Breitbach, seconded by Carter). The board also approved black blinds, Early America wood stain for the inside of the window and black hardware for the Courthouse Window Project (motion by Suckow, seconded by Carter).
By consensus the board agreed to reimburse Pioneer Cemetery for proceeds from the sale of a trailer sold April 20, 2026 for $1,280.00 (the sale had occurred through the sealed bids process). The board approved Resolution 06-08-26-41, adopting the minor subdivision plat of PARCEL 2026-26 in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 30, Township 96 North, Range 14 West (motion by Carter, seconded by Breitbach); roll call: all ayes.
Supervisors reported recent committee meetings attended (Six County Meeting, FMC Landfill, Northeast Iowa Response Group). The board adjourned at 9:57 AM (motion by Suckow, seconded by Carter).
