Recreation Committee meets Select Board to propose updates to 2016 policy

The Recreation Committee met with the Select Board during a workshop portion of the Dec. 16 meeting to review a packet of items and to propose updates to the town’s 2016 Recreation Committee Policy.
Committee Chair Carol Emery presented a list of topics submitted Oct. 18 and asked the Select Board for feedback and next steps. Chair Brian Mills noted the committee’s session notes were attached to the meeting record and asked staff to ensure the Recreation Committee’s recommendations are reviewed and scheduled for follow-up.
No formal policy vote was taken; the board and committee treated the workshop as an informational session and asked for a return visit with specific proposed language for changes.
