Brimfield BZA receives staff updates on local projects, enforcement; meeting adjourns

During the March 11 meeting Mike Hlad, Economic Development Director and Zoning Inspector, updated the Brimfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals on several local development and enforcement items.
Hlad said an oral surgery center will break ground shortly and that a hotel project previously granted conditional use approvals and variances by the BZA is moving forward. He reported that the Ohio Department of Transportation is advancing a traffic‑signal project near the Drug Mart location and that the project should be going to bid soon. Zoning‑violation inspections are ongoing; six repeat cases were referred to the prosecutor's office. Hlad also noted that Wing Warehouse is wrapping up work and expected to open in the spring. The board set its next meeting for Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
Ed Shutty moved to adjourn at 7:25 p.m.; Tony Ramos seconded and the motion passed unanimously (MOTION#2026-14).
