Castine Selectboard approves General Fund and Water warrants totaling $56,440.01

At a brief meeting immediately following the work session on Jan. 13, 2025, the Castine Selectboard voted 3-0 to approve a General Fund warrant for $47,803.85 and a Water warrant for $8,636.16.
Chair Roberta Boczkiewicz opened the meeting at 6:02 p.m. and confirmed a quorum. Selectboard member Dan Leader moved to approve the General Fund warrant of $47,803.85; Amy Gutow seconded. Boczkiewicz said the General Fund warrant covered 33 vendors and 59 bills. The motion carried on a 3-0 vote.
Leader then moved to approve the Water warrant of $8,636.16; Gutow seconded. Boczkiewicz said the Water warrant covered five vendors and 11 bills. That motion likewise passed 3-0.
After the warrants were approved, Leader moved to adjourn; Gutow seconded. The board voted 3-0 to adjourn, and the meeting ended at 6:03 p.m. Minutes were prepared by Town Clerk Susan Macomber and provided via Finance Officer Karen Motycka. The meeting took place at Emerson Hall in Castine.
