The Skowhegan Selectboard on Feb. 24 approved an application from Prestigious LLC DBA Snack Shack, allowing the business at 100 Waterville Road to serve on‑premises beer, wine and spirits and to operate a fenced outdoor tiki bar with picnic seating.
Fabian, speaking for the applicant, told the board the change responds to customer interest; proposed initial hours are Tuesday–Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday noon–6 p.m., with the possibility of later hours during the summer. Fabian said alcohol service will be limited to a controlled, sectioned outdoor area, bartenders will be licensed and staff and managers will check identification to prevent underage sales. The board approved the motion by Amber Lambke, seconded by Ethan Liberty, by a 5–0 vote.
The applicant confirmed necessary building permits are in place and the outdoor area will be fenced and supervised. The approval authorizes on‑premises service only; any change in hours or service area would require further board review or permitting.
