Batesville School District recognizes National Merit semifinalist and receives performance, financial reports

The Batesville School District Board of Directors recognized Batesville High School student Mai Lan Ho as a National Merit semifinalist during its Nov. 17, 2025 meeting. Superintendent Dr. Ginni McDonald announced the recognition.
District staff presented academic and operational information to the board: Mr. James Housdan presented the West Student Performance Report and Rachel Horn presented the District Student Performance Report. Shelley McCormick provided the district financial report. Candace Morrow presented information about the Batesville School District website during the superintendent communications segment.
Board members recorded no public comment during this meeting and noted that Director Heather Fulbright was absent. The board received a construction update from Nabholz earlier in the agenda and approved routine agenda and consent items by unanimous roll call of those present.
The meeting opened at 5:30 PM and was adjourned at 6:30 PM.
