The Finance and Property Committee approved retail liquor and fermented malt beverage licenses at two premises, recommended conditional action on one delinquent renewal and authorized payments and the next meeting date.
The committee approved a fermented malt beverage (retail class B) license application for Crohiva Investment Group LLC (Cobblestone Hotel and Suites), agent Udum Patel, for premises at 310 A Street South. It then approved liquor license applications for Doc Bees Tap House LLC (East Tap House), agent Kelly Olenick, at 140 East Grand Avenue. Committee members indicated the paperwork for both applications was in order and the motions passed in committee.
On license renewals for 2026–27, staff reported all applicants had submitted paperwork but one licensee had delinquent property taxes. The committee recommended sending a notice of non‑renewal to that licensee; staff said a hearing may be requested and that if the delinquency is paid by June 30, 2026 the license will be renewed. The committee approved renewals conditionally, except where disqualification exists for delinquency.
The committee ordered payment of checks numbered 29913 through 30212 and approved setting the next regular Finance and Property Committee meeting for July 7 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
