Danville reviews warrant-mailer draft and promotes Timberlane school public hearings

Vale presented a revised draft of the town’s warrant-mailer at the Feb. 9 meeting and asked the Board to review changes made after the recent Deliberative Session. She said she would recheck math and spelling and would finalize the resident address list with the printer the following day.
Shawn O’Neil noted there is no state statute requiring the town to mail a warrant but described mailing as a longstanding local practice; he also reminded residents that printed annual reports are available on request at Town Hall. Vale confirmed arrangements with the printer to use the resident-address list and to finalize it promptly.
Separately, Maryann Springer announced two Timberlane Regional School District public hearings: Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. at Danville Elementary School, where the tax-cap warrant article will be discussed, and Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the SAU board room to consider amending the Articles of Agreement. Springer said the Deliberative Session that began Thursday ran into the early morning hours and that the preference for Saturday sessions should be communicated to neighboring towns when scheduling future Deliberative Sessions.
